Everything about this place is great. We were on vacation in Ormond for three days, after we ate at La's the first day we went back as many times as we could fit in. The lunch was amazing and breakfast was just as good. Some of the best french toast I have ever had. Their food makes it obvious that they pay attention to every detail in the food. There was not one part of any of our meals that was not cooked properly and all items were prepared with top quality ingredients. The beer list was pretty good (though they were out of many of them) and their wine was top notch. They do a great job a finding reasonable but high quality wines. We had the house Malbec and it was top notch. Our service was also great. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes good food. Can't wait to go back when it is a little cooler and we can enjoy the great looking porch they have.

PERFECT!
I love La's Bistro so, so much. This cute little restaurant has served well for so many occasions -- from hosting my visiting mother-in-law to reconnecting with old friends for lunch, and even my bachelorette dinner in the wonderful and private upstairs room. The atmosphere is just right for an evening with girlfriends or an afternoon when you want a delicious and sophisticated lunch. But once you taste the food, that's all that matters, because it is incredible!
On the lunch menu, I've enjoyed the Quiche of the Day, Portobello Mushroom Sandwich and Bistro Grilled Chicken salad (favorite!), and the dinner options are all great, too -- but the Grilled French Brie and Zesty Grilled Shrimp appetizers are both so good, I'd almost recommend making them your whole meal.
I can't say enough how much I like La's Bistro! The service is as good as the food, and it's one of my favorite places to eat in town.

This is a comfortable, friendly place with a huge menu--something for everyone. There's always a yummy quiche and creative soups and specials, and I've never been disappointed. Even the chicken and tuna salads are a cut above! But the best part is the very welcoming staff and excellent, attentive service. And do try to save room for dessert--they are truly awesome (my fave: the carrot cake!), and just the right size. We love La's!

Living in the area for almost 40 years, it becomes easy to whittle out the ordinary and define the elite and make no mistake, La's Bistro is elite . . . from their homemade soups . . . try the crab bisque, to the marriage of the tastes in the sandwiches . . . to the wine selection . . . and let's not forget those delightfully decadent desserts.
A few personal favorites are their daily quiche selection and the ever fresh and creative chicken salad. Momma never made it so good!!!! I have to wonder if a previous poster ate at the same restaurant.
The ambiance is warm and welcoming whether seated inside or out. The service impeccable and the lunch chef a talented wizard.

This is the best place to eat any meal...We are here for breakfast every weekend we are in Ormond Beach. Dinner as well. The food is outrageous and the service is beyond any place we have eaten and we eat out a lot all over the world. This is a true 5 star Restaurant. We recommend it to everyone. See you there. :-)

We enjoyed a "dream brunch" today on the first day of our vacation. The eggs Benedict with crab cake, complete with black olives and capers, struck a perfect balance of savory and breakfast. We also thoroughly enjoyed our mini champagne bottles that came with our mimosa & madris flights. The ambience outdoors felt gardenesque and tropical. We also had the chance to chat with owner Carlos about their well-planned wine list and how he and his wife Casey as well as their daughters are so personally invested in this restaurant. We plan to return for dinner next weekend!

After a recommendation from a chap on the golf course, we decided to try this restaurant. We arrived to a small, quaint, family run restaurant to be told a little about the history of the business and the source of the ingredients. After sharing the most delicious Bruchetta we'd ever tasted we enjoyed our mains (Pork Medallions with summer squashes and potato's and Mediterranean toss pasta) followed by a small Chocolate and Peanut butter cake between us. All of the food was delicious and served by the very nice lady who owns the restaurant with her husband. The Chef came out at one point to ask how the food was. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed, quaint environment. This was the best meal we had on our two week holiday and wish La's Bistro was closer to home.

After getting terrible service at xxxxx xxxxxx we decided to give La's Bistro a try,and we are so glad we did! The place is cute, but the food is fantastic.
I get the blueberry and cream cheese pancakes everytime we go. The service is great and they always remember what we want. We don't even have to order anymore!

Excellent food, attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere. We ate there twice during our stay near Daytona and would return gladly. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the vegetarian diner in our party was well catered for. The desserts in particular are quite special. I believe they only serve dinner for part of the season and then only on Thursday to Saturday but it's worth making the effort to visit this restaurant if you are in the area. I won't be reviewing any other restaurants that we visited during our trip to Florida - most were fine but nothing special - This one is!
